About

Local Roots. Traditional Expertise. A New Vision for Distillation.

Terra Distilla was created to transform local plant resources into high-value essential oils, in the place where they grow.

The opportunity identified in Flobecq

Flobecq combines long agricultural experience with a region — the Pays des Collines — historically connected to medicinal and aromatic plants. Aromatic species are already cultivated locally, but they leave the region unprocessed. Terra Distilla exists to close that gap.

A project connected to local agriculture

The distillation unit is a diversification of an existing farming activity rather than an external venture. Cultivation, harvest and distillation are planned together.

A focus on roots and seeds

Root and seed distillation is technically demanding and less common than leaf or flower distillation. It is where Terra Distilla intends to build specific expertise, starting with horseradish root and angelica seed.

Artisanal and seasonal by design

Production follows the harvest. Volumes are limited by intent, so that each batch can be prepared, monitored and documented properly.

Technological differentiation

Every run is treated as a source of data. Recorded parameters make it possible to compare batches, understand variation and improve consistency over time.

International ambitions

The commercial horizon is European and international: cosmetics, perfumery, botanical ingredients, wellness, research and specialised distribution.

Complementary Expertise, One Shared Vision

Terra Distilla was created from the combination of two complementary areas of expertise: long-standing agricultural knowledge and medicinal plants and experience in technology.
