Belgian Essential Oils, Rooted in Nature and Refined by Innovation

Terra Distilla produces distinctive essential oils through artisanal distillation, local botanical expertise and data-driven process optimisation.

Our origin

A distillation project rooted in the Pays des Collines

Terra Distilla is being established in Flobecq, in the heart of Belgium's Pays des Collines — a region with a longstanding relationship to the cultivation and use of medicinal and aromatic plants.

The project builds on that tradition with an artisanal plant-distillation unit, and a particular focus on the distillation of roots and seeds: a demanding raw material that requires careful preparation and patient extraction.

Our products

Two essential oils to begin with.

Initial production focuses on two locally cultivated materials: horseradish root and angelica seed. Additional aromatic extracts will be evaluated as the distillation unit develops.

Our four pillars

An alliance between tradition and innovation

Artisanal Approach

Small-scale production inspired by traditional distillation methods and local plant resources.

Technological Innovation

Collection and analysis of process data to support optimisation and consistent product quality.

Local Commitment

Contribution to the local economy and preservation of agricultural and botanical expertise in Flobecq.

Sustainable Vision

Responsible use of local resources, improved process efficiency and future opportunities for residue valorisation.

Where Artisanal Distillation Meets Data

Augmented micro-distillation describes what Terra Distilla is building: a small-scale distillation practice in which each batch is documented, measured and compared.

The objective is not automation but understanding — knowing why a batch behaved as it did, and being able to reproduce it.
