Horseradish Root Essential Oil
Horseradish root is one of the two plant materials Terra Distilla starts from. It is grown in Flobecq and its surrounding region, harvested when the root has reached full maturity and distilled shortly afterwards.
Horseradish is a demanding raw material. The root must be handled quickly after harvest, prepared to a consistent size and distilled with close attention to the process, which is exactly why it suits an artisanal, monitored production model.
The resulting oil is exceptionally powerful and is used in very small proportions. It is intended for professional formulation contexts only, where dilution, handling and regulatory assessment are managed by qualified staff.
Terra Distilla does not make therapeutic claims for this oil. Its suitability for a given application must be established by the buyer.
